I'm a late-20's, married, animal loving, not so artistically or musically inclined, cooking up a mess-a-something, ex-city girl. I actually don't know how long one has to live in a big city to say they're a city girl, but I lived in San Francisco for over three years and now live in San Jose. While living in San Francisco, I learned a lot about myself. Among the highlights is my love of good food. I didn't say three Michelin stars, I didn't say Zagat rated, I said good! I'm talking the right types and amount of spices, the right amount of effort, love, desire, and enjoyment that turns into the perfect morsel of food. Find someone or some restaurant that gets all that right, and you’ll find good food. So, when I moved from SF to the burbs with my then boyfriend, now husband and then puppy, now dog plus two cats, I couldn't forget about my love of good food. The downside: I couldn't walk out my apartment door into a town full of good food and fellow foodies.
To end a long story, this blog marks my reflection on my Suburban Life and the quest to find good food in a world full of fast food, processed food, frozen food, cat food, dog food, baby food, seafood, fried food, etc.
So cute! Can't wait to be home in 1 month!!! <3
